We build the homes we would want to live in

Urbanform is a New York developer that designs, builds and sells its own homes. Since 2011 we have completed 1,240 of them across fourteen sites.

Eleanor Hart founded Urbanform after fifteen years running construction for larger developers, convinced that the people who build a home should be the same people who sell it and look after it afterwards.

We still work that way. Every building is designed by an architect we choose for that site, built by our own site teams and sold from our own sales galleries. The person who hands you the keys is the same person you can call two years later.

What we hold to

Space first

Generous ceilings, real storage and outdoor space for every home, before anything else.

Low running costs

Heat pumps, triple glazing and all-electric buildings, so homes are cheap to heat and cool for decades.

One team throughout

We design, build, sell and look after our homes. No hand-offs and no one to blame.

Good neighbors

Public gardens, routes through our sites and street-level spaces that give something back to the block.

Most buyers make up their mind before they reach the living room. Why we design the walk from the sidewalk to the front door as carefully as the homes themselves.
