Sawmill House's frame is complete
The last timber panels are in on the ninth floor of Sawmill House, and the scaffold is ready for the balcony and window crews.

The frame crews finished the ninth floor of Sawmill House in the first week of October. Each floor is made from cross-laminated timber panels cut in a factory and craned into place, so a whole story goes up in a little over a week, with far less noise and dust than a concrete frame.
The balcony steel goes on through November, followed by the windows. The first model residence opens in Sawmill House in the new year.
