Canal House reaches its full height

The last floor is in on Canal House, and the roof terraces on the fifth floor are now taking shape over the Gowanus Canal.

Canal House topped out on August 20, three weeks ahead of schedule. The roof terraces have their waterproofing and the planters for the roof garden are in place.

Windows go in through September and October, which makes the building weathertight before winter.
